Questions

Frequently asked.

Is DBCraft really free?

Yes — free during early access. No credit card, no trial period. We'll announce Pro pricing when AI ships, and we'll give early users a heads-up with a fair transition.

What happens when Pro launches?

Pro will add the AI SQL Assistant, scheduled reports, and advanced analytics. Early-access users get the first look and a free month when we launch.

How does DBCraft compare to Metabase, Looker, or Tableau?

Metabase is older Java-based and slower. Looker requires sales calls and starts at $5,000/month. Tableau is built for desktop. DBCraft is built for engineering teams who want to ship dashboards in minutes, not weeks.

Do you offer discounts for startups or non-profits?

Yes — significant discounts for early-stage startups, non-profits, and educational institutions. Email hello@dbcraft.io with a few details about your team.

How is my data secured?

Database credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-GCM. SSL/TLS is enforced for all database connections. We're SOC 2 ready and never look at your raw data.

Which databases are supported?

PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, ClickHouse, and SQLite today. BigQuery, Redshift, and Snowflake are next on the roadmap.

Start in under a minute.

One Docker command, paste a connection string, run a query. That's it. No demo call required.
